I live in the moment but I also like to freeze the present.
I think it is important to take some time to reminisce and reflect on where we've been. And, perhaps, where I've been will me lead and inspire me toward where I am going.
I am a publishing industry professional who enjoyed a long career at Random House, where in my last position I was the Associate Director of Sales Administration.
I collaborated with 44 imprint marketing departments to distribute all solicitation material to sales reps and accounts efficiently and economically;
liaised with the information technology
department in the creation of web based tools;
created and maintained databases which facilitated inventory, fulfillment and tracking of sales materials.
And I managed relationships with
internal departments and outside vendors.
I am currently in job search and I am excited by all the possibilities that the transistion to digital brings to publishing and marketing.
In addition photography, my passions include reading, digital media, music, knitting, and traveling. I especially love when all these things converge.
